Are you ready to reach
a school near you?
If you are in the greater Pittsburgh region (western Pennsylvania) we would love to help you make an impact on the schools near you. There are 250,000 teenagers in the greater Pittsburgh region who need to hear about Jesus - and no one can reach high school students like their fellow students, the students who are already there. But they need Christian adults to equip them, pray for them, and provide resources for them. We would love to help you start the process of reaching your school!
So, what are Student Outreach Clubs?
In 1984 President Ronald Reagan signed a law called the "Equal Access Act" which allows high school students to form religious clubs at public schools provided that the school is federally funded and that it has other non-curriculum related clubs. The clubs must also be student-initiated and student led. The law was challenged in 1990 but upheld by the Supreme Court at that time. Student Outreach Clubs are a type of Equal Access Act club that encourage students to be connected with the local churches in their community and to focus on sharing the Gospel with their fellow students in fun and creative ways.
